Each of these sweet mini buildings are based on different houses in the Netherlands and are filled with Dutch gin. They are collectors items and I got given two of them! I picked numbers 61 and 63, which both just happen to be on the same road in Amsterdam Keizersgracht which I found out on the website afterwards. Miraculously they survived my journey all over Quebec and back home, so now they are sitting on my shelf with their chimneys still sealed, ready for a rainy day! Im particularly keen on this kind of luxury travel.

Rick Seaney, the co-founder of FareCompare.com, said that the tough economy in the past five or six years has led to fewer people taking international trips, meaning that when they do finally decide to head out of the country, they assume that their passports are still valid from their last trip. On a larger scale, he says, the policies themselves are more a reflection of other countries wanting to be punitive for the U.S. restrictions on foreign visitors. By basically charging folks for visas into the U.S., all the other countries basically reciprocated by saying, ‘Now you have to have visas with us’ because we tightened up our rules, Seaney told ABC. Just as the exact requirements differ for each country, the outcomes change per passenger. Some people in major cities are able to push back their flights, and rush to an emergency passport facility to get a new, up-to-date passport within a day or two in an attempt to salvage some of their existing hotel reservations.
These stunning images – which capture dizzying views of city life in London, Paris and Hong Kong from 600ft up – were taken by daredevil Andrew Tso. The 26-year-old, from Hong Kong, has snapped the vertiginous images while ‘rooftopping’ across the globe. The fearless climber’s passion for scaling large buildings stems from a childhood love of mounting objects. He said: ‘Being at the top is always a thrill, and no matter what people say about being fearless, there’s always an element of uncertainty and fear. Sometimes it makes me uncomfortable, but I feed off that tension and try to push myself a little more each time.’ In one of the self-taken photographs, Andrew is seen clinging to a lightning rod in Kowloon, China.

I love how the left hand compartment comes out and the middle section is magnetic so you can insert any products you like inside. For base and concealer I took my favourites. The Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation is lovely for a light, glowing base and her Retoucher concealer goes perfectly with it for the under eye area. I also packed my MUFE Full Cover Concealer as its waterproof so its perfect for hot climates. In a last minute panic I packed my NARS concealer but didnt end up using it. I managed to crack my Revlon bronzer out of its palette and take that along with me but for blush I knew Id want to opt for cream in the warmer evenings. I took two cream blushers, the new Clinique Chubby Stick for Cheeks in Roly Poly Rosy and the Maxfactor Creamy rent bus Blush in Soft Pink. For a bit of highlight in the evenings I took the Kiko Radiant Touch highlighting stick. On holiday I let my brows run free, so aside from some clear brow gel I didnt take any other brow products with me.
